Do you get as frustrated as I do, walking around in your company seeing lock screens looking like a bunch of home devices? Seeing AD’s all over the place and just nonsense that isn’t important?
If that sounds like you, I have a guide for you and how to resolve this with Intune, using an Intune configuration.
Alright, enough yapping already, let’s get to it!
In Intune, go to Devices, > Manage Devices > Configuration
Create > New Policy > Select Windows 10 or Later > Profile Type is "Settings Catalog"
Name your setting in a way that aligns with the naming standard in your org.
Click Next
In Configuration Settings, you will select “Add Settings”
In the search field, you will search for “Experience” and select the only setting that says just “Experience”
From there you will need to expand “Allow Windows Spotlight User” then select “Configure Windows Spotlight On Lock Screen (User)
Set the setting to “Windows Spotlight Disabled”
Apply the policy to your test users.
That’s it! Now all of your lock screens won’t look like a rookie is running your Intune environment anymore.
